This policy explains what information Oak Valley Marketing collects through this website, how it is used, and what choices you have. Oak Valley Marketing is a sole proprietorship based in Modesto, California. In this policy, “I” and “me” mean Alex Mustin, doing business as Oak Valley Marketing.
Information I collect
Contact form. If you use the contact form, I receive the information you type in: your name, email address, business name and message.
Email and phone. If you email me or call me, I receive whatever you send or say, along with your email address or phone number.
Spam protection. To limit spam, the form briefly records how many times it has been submitted from your network address. This is a short-lived counter, and it is not kept as a record of who you are.
Visitor traffic. My website is delivered through Cloudflare, which processes visitor traffic to keep the site fast and secure. Cloudflare and my hosting server may keep standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
What I do not do
This site does not use advertising trackers, analytics or advertising cookies, and it does not load fonts from outside services. I do not sell your information, and I do not share it for advertising.
How I use your information
I use what you send me to reply to you, to discuss possible work together, and to keep a record of our conversation. If we work together, I use your information to provide the services we agree on.
Services that handle your information
These providers handle information on my behalf, and each has its own privacy policy:
- Cloudflare provides website delivery, security and DNS.
- Zoho Mail provides my email, including messages sent from the contact form.
- My website host stores the website files and its database.
I may also disclose information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
The contact form does not save your message to the website’s database. It is sent to my email inbox only. I keep email conversations for as long as they are useful for our business relationship or as needed for my records, and then delete them.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies for ordinary visitors. If you are logged in as a site administrator, WordPress sets the cookies it needs for logging in.
Your choices
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email [email protected] or call (775) 313-4551, and I will respond promptly.
If you receive a marketing email from me, you can reply and ask me to stop, and I will remove you from my list.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at children. I do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Links to other sites
This site may link to other websites. I am not responsible for their privacy practices.
